2008: Small School Rankings

These rankings are final (subject to some proof-reading).

I am having trouble posting comments in this section, but I do read them and absorb them.

I am not listing the computer rankings as I think that their bogusness has been well proven. I may get back to them later in the season.

Explanations of rankings are in the weekly reports above and below.

I question whether some of the non-public teams should even be a part of these rankings, but I will follow the CP's lead and if their enrollment is less than the largest Group 2 in the state, I will include them. CP rankings are for 11/29

Few adjustments this week!!!! I made made some adjsutments based on the Finals and another just based on further thought.

Some of your records are off:
GC is 1-0(2-0) & Gateway is 1-1(0-2). Sterling beat Haddon Twp but they are ranked below them? Gateway beat Steling and are way down the bottom. Colonial is always tight and can flip any week.

I like it though. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Thanks for the correction. I had it right on my private document and then copied it wrong to the published document.

I had some debating to do as 1 or 2 games tells us very little.

Some judgements were made based on where teams were last year and how much I thought that they should move up or down. I look at the two year and three year trends also.

So, Holy Spirit stays at the top, because that is where they finished last year and they have not done anything to deserve to be downgraded.

Rankings from 29 - 48 are highly debatable and will probably be drastically different next week.

I agree with you that non-publics need a separate ranking or an additional enrollment percentage for the open enrollment factor.

Five of your top eight teams are non-publics. The courier will be the same way. That's ridiculous.

Also I feel Delsea should have dropped farther down. GC also jumped over a team that beat them in a game scrimmage this season in Haddonfield. It was talked about on the forum about how GC got caught by surprise by a smaller school.

Their you rankings so you make the rules. I'll still keep reading.
